IBC 2019: Final Thoughts
2019 IBC was a big hit this year. With a total attendance figure of 56,390, IBC 2019 welcomed a record number of next-generation attendees. On top of that, there were quite a few announcements from manufacturers for all types of new and exciting equipment. From cameras to lenses and support gear, there was something for everyone. At IBC 2019 in Amsterdam, Sony today unveiled the PXW-FX9, its first XDCAM camera featuring an advanced 6K² full-frame sensor and Fast Hybrid Auto Focus (AF) system. The new camera offers content creators greater creative freedom and flexibility to capture stunning images that truly resonate with audiences.

Blackmagic Design today announced Blackmagic Video Assist 12G which are new models of the company's popular combined monitoring and recording solutions. These new models feature brighter HDR screens, built in scopes, upgraded batteries, 12G-SDI and much more. AJA Reveals New 12G-SDI, HDR, openGear, IP Solutions and More at IBC 2019
AJA Video Systemstoday unveiled new products and updates designed to advance broadcast, production, post and proAV workflows. Addressing growing bandwidth requirements for high quality content creation and delivery, AJA is showcasing the HDR Image Analyzer 12G, the KUMO 6464-12G for routing, as well as the newly shipping Corvid 44 12G developer I/O models this year at IBC.
