IBC2022 Spotlights Leading-Edge Creativity and Decisive Social Interventions in Awards Shortlist
IBC has announced the 2022 shortlist for its prestigious Innovation and Social Impact Awards. The IBC Innovation Awards reward collaborative efforts in developing new solutions for real-world challenges; the IBC Social Impact Awards recognise new efforts in equality, diversity, environmental concerns and social engagement. All the winners will be announced in a unique, digital-first online presentation on Monday 5 September at 16.00 BST, with trophies presented at a special networking event, onsite at IBC on Sunday evening, 11 September.
IBC2022 marks BBC centenary with International Honour for Excellence
IBC today announces the IBC2022 International Honour for Excellence, its most prestigious award, will be presented to the BBC as part of its centenary celebrations. The world’s first public broadcaster went on air in 1922, and BBC 100 is a celebration of everything that has come since. IBC recognises that pioneering moment as the catalyst that sparked the whole content and technology industry it serves.

IBC2022 is now open for registration as the show prepares to return to an in-person environment that promotes face-to-face collaboration, learning, networking and business development across the media, entertainment and technology industry. The show is back as a physical event at the RAI Amsterdam from the 9th to 12th of September after a two-year absence, and will continue to showcase innovation, best practice and diversity within the sector.
